J.H. Harness and Saddlery opened its doors in Waukesha, Wisconsin in 2009 and the company prides iteself on researching, designing and building high quality equipment. J.H. Harness is pleased to sell products to tack shops and dealers, who then sell to retail customers. J.H. Harness will also offer select merchandise from other manufacturers, whose high quality standards meet J.H. Harness expectations.
Meet the Owner
John Huntoon has lived and worked in Wisconsin his entire life. While working in the harness making industry for over 31 years, John always had a dream of crafting his own harness. He started his dream in his basement, creating harnesses and is excited to now be based at his own manufacturing facility.
​Meet the Sales Manager
Bob Rice has over 40 years of experience in the Standardbred industry. He owned and managed Wilber's Harness Supply, based at the Chicago harness tracks for 25 years. He then moved to Wisconsin to work for two harness manufacturers before starting at J.H. Harness.
